I’ve been looking at craigslist personals ads, and several Have Responded to me by Sending me a link to a site verification, Adult Face Book, My Space Adult gold, etc.. . . They All want credit card information, and I do not think that’s a Good Idea. So, Does anyone know what sites are really verification Those doing? Seems like it Could Be a credit card scam.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers who use craigslist. I’ve never heard of Adult FB or MS, but this definitely sounds like a scam to me. Here’s a valuable list of resources where you can check for scams:

Its a credit card and identity theft scam, dont do it unless you want to lose hundreds or thousands. Verification sites are all scams, there is nothing about a credit card number that can verify your age or identity. A 14 year old boy could easily enter his dad’s credit card nr, or a scammer could use a stolen credit card nr for example

the only way to verify your age is with a passport or license, not a credit card, You can’t use a credit card as proof you are old enough to buy cigarettes or liquor as there is no way to verify your age from a credit card
